So Warren Buffet doesn't think he pays enough taxes. All he has to do is write a check as a tax gift to the IRS for a few million, I'm sure they'd take it. The tax and spend politicians, mainly democrats use this tax the rich game, because they know it sounds tough and "fair" to an ill informed public. This administration will blame anything and anybody as a diversion to the spending problem in Washington. Any informed person knows that "the rich" already pay their more than fair share of taxes. Of course there are those corporations that avoid paying taxes like a madador avoiding a bull, and that should be addressed. Also there are wealthy tax cheats, as well as middle class tax cheats that should be nailed. But the point is that raising taxes on "the rich" is not going to do anything for this sick economy. And if taxes are raised you can bet your sinking dollar that the middle class will get robbed one way or the other too. So the problem is not enough tax money, which way too much goes out to other countries anyway, but the problem is not enough revenue, as in jobs. Put more people back to work and you've got a larger tax base for washington to rob. The problem is just plain old household economics. Most responsible Americans know when their household income decreases due to job loss, sickness, or any other thing that causes income loss, the answer is to budget, make cuts, and less spending. Don't let your elected officials trick you into believing that this debt problem can begin to be solved any other way. All the "tax and spenders" want is to decieve you into giving them more of your hard earned money, so that their addiction to other people's money will keep flowing!
